Microsoft Word is a word processing program.  It is used to create letters, memos, forms, or any type of text document.

The Introduction course is enough to get you started.  You will learn how to create letters and memos and some basic formatting concepts.

The Intermediate Level I course is devoted to one Word concept called Section Breaks.  Once you have learned the basics of Word, it is essential to understand this concept, or you may find you will become frustrated using Word.

After that, the course you choose should depend on the topics that interest you.  For example, if you are going to do mass mailings of letters to customers, you should take the Tables & Merge course next.
